Hunt 504 Surprise!

This morning I opened wetcanvas to check on the new Scavenger Hunt list which was put up yesterday.  To my surprise this was the opening line:

Jo was signed up to host but must be engaged otherwise so I have copied a list she posted for hunt #396 - March 2, 2015.....
Thank you, Robin.

Here is Robin's blog.  There are some fun sketches there.  I like her wiggly curved hatching.

I looked at my calendar a few days ago and the Hunt was not there on my "to do" list of things.  I was going to the Art Center to watch Enid's demo and thought if I sketched it might fit the new list.     I did not check the on-line sign up list, however.

Yesterday, I sketched Enid and decided to look today to see if it fit the list and found that I had been flakey and not put up a list.  Robin stepped up for me.  Wow!

Enid  www.enidwood.com did a great demo on using pan pastels, for two hours at the Lost Pines Art Center.  It is a beautiful place.  There was a lot going on there yesterday.  Did I get any photos?  Of course not.

Number 1, blue - Enid's dark blue shirt and the sky in her painting on the left.

Now I will go check "my list" and see what I should be sketching!

Happens to all of us. I copied SH#500 list and fully intended to do just one sketch. Before I knew it, was more than a week past the end of that hunt.

Jo, it does happen. I set reminders on my calendar now to let me know 2 days before and then one day before.

Joan, I set the reminders, too. I just didn't even put it on my calendar at all! Sigh.... Thanks for the pep talk anyway. Ha.

I tell people it is okay to call me and remind me. I can have all the notes and calendars marked and still forget something.

Bag Blog, it is good to have someone to remind you. You definitely know I need help!
