Deborah Johnson, gallery owner, thought we might have a theme of sea shore work to compliment Glenda's work.
I like to paint water, it is a challenge and like clouds, it can be almost any way you want it to be.
This is the first of my three small paintings.

It is SXSW time in Austin. Music and more https://www.sxsw.com/ It makes for traffic and hard to get restaurant seating. If you want to hear some good music away from the maddening crowd, check out Byrd and Street at New World Deli on Saturday, March 18. You know how much we like their music and friendship. More on their website with additional schedules and purchase CDs.

New World Deli has gluten free bread. It is fun for me to have a Reuben or any sandwich. Not every restaurant has that.
Last night, the Longhorns won over the Texas Aggies!! Woohoo! Big rivalry, but they are in different conferences now so play one game a year. The Horns play Texas Tech this weekend in the start of conference play. Looking forward to the games. Hook 'em Horns!

This looks great, Jo! So glad you are painting more. :-)
Painting at all is painting more, Regina. Thank you....
I like the birds watching. Last week I painted an ocean wave - it is very difficult - especially for a mountain girl. I might post it, but I might try again before I show my work. Your wave looks great.
Go Tech.
Bag Blog, waves are fun. I don't have any personal photos of Texas coasts at the moment. I have some of the great lakes which look like oceans. Ha. I sort of adapted these from a bunch of photos, the bird idea came from a photo Regina sent to me to use. Thanks, Regina. My waves are sort of from Bob Ross, heh, heh!
so pretty and very powerful looking waves :)
Thanks, Jennifer Rose. :)
Love that beautiful, curling wave!!! Great job on this. I din't notice how small you said it was...but you know my love of all things beachy, so it is right up my alley! Have fun listening to the music.
Joan, thank you so much. You know how beachy I am. Ha.
