Second Half of Hunt 479

More sketching for Hunt 479.  We have 26 items and I sketched 13 so far, so second half....

I sketched in the big book holding off Chewie for the second sketch.  I sketched the handle in the dining area of the door to the laundry room.

Number 15, glue

Happy New Year!!  We survived a very quiet evening.  The dogs were pretty calm and went to bed with no problems.  Nala has been a bit nervous today and that may be it, but she slept well.

Gene is on his first trike ride of the year.  He rode 1180 miles or so in 2016 so that will be his goal for this year.  Go, Gene, go!  He says he has come around, started on a trike then went to a bike and now is on a trike again.  Fancy trike, though.  Ha.

I'm not setting any goals.  I will be happy to get any painting done!  Gene says I need to do at least one a month for the calendar next year.  So, we will go with that.

Hope you all have very successful and happy 2017!

Happy New Year to you and Gene!!! I can't believe 2016 is over. I'm hoping to get back to doing the hunts on a more regular basis soon. Time just seems to slip away faster and faster. Wishing you a new year filled with color, inspiration, and paintings!

I like the one painting a month. I was considering that too. But more, I need to work on my marketing - putting myself out there more. And of course, there is the usual weight issues. I'm always hopeful in doing better.

Joan, thanks. I know what you mean about time flying! Yikes!

Bag Blog, I see the painting a day bunch and think, "I could do that!" Then realize a painting a month will be hard. Sigh.... Good luck to you on doing better!

good for Gene biking that! and one painting a month seems like an achievable goal, but of course like has a way of getting in the way

Jennifer Rose, thanks. Just a note that it is Gene's goal for me, not my goal. Ha.

Good to hear you and Gene are carrying on. His dedication on the bike is an inspiration! I usually over organize myself at the new year. I'm trying to avoid that this year. I do have goals for painting, but not quite sure if I want to really name them. You, despite your thoughts about doing nothing, are very faithful to sketch and blog!

Rose, how wonderful to see you here. Happy New Year! You are such an inspiration. Are you doing a newsletter? Haven't seen it in ages. I haven't sent one in well over a year. Yikes and double yikes! Hugs......
