I usually sketch at home with my feet up on the hassock and a glass of wine or coffee near at hand. I will be going out on Sunday in San Antonio to sketch. I need practice for "plein air" sketching. Ha.
I sketched at the Guadalajara the other day and yesterday I sketched at the Shoal Creek Saloon http://shoalcreeksaloon.com/ in Austin in the travel sketchbook with A Micron 05 pen.
Number 9, hot - Tabasco (red and green) and the Louisiana Hot Sauce
Number 10, cold - the ice water
Number 11, plastic - the salt and pepper shakers
Number 12, metal - the condiment holder with the Tabasco logo on top holding the no smoking sign. Guess they need that to remind folks of no smoking out on the deck where we were.
Number 13, primary color - the bright red plastic ketchup bottle and the bright yellow mustard container
Number 14, round - manhole cover down by Shoal creek. It is more of a circle than a round object but seemed to sort of fit.
It was a very nice afternoon to eat and relax on the deck there. They have Cajun and Texas food. Gene had a chicken fried steak and I had fish with a creole sauce. Both very good.
