I cannot believe it is October. Time flies when you are having fun. We arrived home on Saturday and are trying to get back into a routine. A real mess in the house of course. I think it might be easier to pack. Unpacking means you have to find some place to put things!
I sketched in the travel sketchbook with the Micron 03 over several days. I added a bit of color with pencils on the last one. We didn't have internet again at a hotel and then none when we got home. It is a small company and they didn't turn it on until Monday. Sigh, living in the country has perks but not good internet. We can go back to satellite but it is double the price or more. We will see.
The top half of this is for Scavenger Hunt 467. I didn't get them posted to the Hunt, but putting them here for the record.
Number 16, in a bag - camp chair

I will post more photos and info of our great visit to South Bend and the trip home. Our summer was super and long. We put about 10,000 miles on the car. Yikes!!
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Welcome back!!! Hope you can find space to unpack.
Hi, Joan. It is good to be home. We are almost done. I had room to cook dinner last night! You must know the feeling, too!
unpacking is the least fun part of traveling :/ lots of nice sketches here :)
Thanks, Jennifer Rose. You are right. We are still putting things away. Usually it all ends in my studio, but this year we have done a bit better, mostly art stuff made it in here. Ha.
I'm sure it is good to be home - once you unpack. We've had some internet problems too. Maybe I will post it on my blog. October has been busy here.
Bag Blog, hi there! It is good to be here. The internet and phone folks have the country folks in a bind, they can charge what they want. Hope your world calms down!
