Hunting Sketches on my iPad

Scavenger Hunt 449 is over today.  http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1404319
I did get a couple more done on my iPad.  Yesterday I sketched in the App, Brushes, and tried a stylus that Joanna gave me with a brush on the end.  It was OK but no more painterly than ever and not easier to make straight lines, etc.  I will try the regular stylus another day.  :)

I am amazed that it takes me much longer to sketch digitally.  I'm not sure why.  Maybe it is the color as you go and that makes it more like painting.  Instead of drawing shapes only, I'm thinking about shadows and different tones to give shape to the items.  I'm obviously not more careful!  There are still crooked lines and bad perspective.  Maybe it is just lack of practice.

Number 10, shoe cleaning stuff - I didn't look but the polish is probably dried up.  We wear mostly sneakers and sandals around here.

Number 11, weather outside - sunny and nice.  Perfect weather here for about a month before the heat arrives.

Well, the Longhorns were typical of the year.  They are in West Virginia and lost the first game of the series 11-2.  Like my sketches, hard to know why the games and players are so different on a day to day basis.  Hope they can win today!  Hook 'em Horns!

I've been playing with my art app some, but I have not done so well. Need more practice.

Bag Blog, it changes your thinking. I use it like sketching and these look the same as my first ones. Heh, heh. People do amazing work with digital drawing.

I missed the hunt completely. Life has been too busy and I have another busy week ahead. It is funny how sketching with the iPad takes so long. You would think modern technology would make it quicker, but I don't find that to be the case either. lol

Jennifer Rose, thank you. One of these days I will work on a "detailed" drawing. Use the undo about 10-1 over one pixel.

Joan, you have had a time. You get a week or two off when life interferes! Your digital work is very good.
