Number 1, a bottle with a label
Number 2, a jar with a label
The salsa is a favorite from Albuquerque and the wine is a new one to try, a gift from Brandon. It is from Chile so is bound to be excellent. I liked the label for the sketch! Different!
The Longhorn baseball team is still pretty flat. There doesn't seem to be any excitement this year for some reason. They have lots of talent, as usual. They just don't get it together as often as we would like. We are not fair weather fans, though. We go to as many games as we can. They are in Lubbock this weekend to play the Texas Tech Red Raiders. We should have gone, but can watch on TV. Tech is broadcasting somewhat like the University of Texas Longhorn Network which is with ESPN. Tech is with Fox Sports. Anyway, I am happy to be able to watch. The Horns lost Friday, 13-6 and won yesterday 7-4. Tech is in first place in the conference and in the top 10 nationally. Maybe the Horns can win today and knock them down a notch. It would sure boost their spirits! Hook 'em Horns!

I thought for a second that Gene had switched to drinking Fighting Cock Bourbon. Both have great roosters on their bottles. Sadie's is one of my favorite salsas. I rarely buy salsa, but Sadie's is good stuff and I will buy some when I find it.
Bag Blog, yay! You are up and about. :) Sadie's is good for salsa in a jar. The restaurant has become such a tourist spot. Loud, noisy, wait .. not worth it anymore. We eat at Casa de Benevidez now. We bought some of their salsa when we were last there. It is good, too. Sadie's we find at our local HEB (Texas grocery chain for you that aren't in Texas) We don't buy salsa either in general.
The rooster label is fun. It says they use the chickens to eat bugs, etc., in the vineyard for their organic wine.
not so hot sounds like my kind of salsa :)
Jennifer Rose, Ha! The "Not So Hot" is still pretty hot! Gene and his brother can eat the "Hot", the other is for us tender folks. :)
