Hunting from the Porch

Cloudy in the west and looking like rain,
My damned 'ol slicker is in the wagon again.
Come a ti yi yippee, yippee yay, yippee yay.......

Thinking of my mom when the sky is interesting.  We had bubble gum clouds last night and regular rainy looking sky today.

Note to Regina:  The big tree is getting fuller.  :)

I sketched on the porch yesterday afternoon, such great weather.

Number 3, landscape - nothing new here
Number 4, flower - same old geranium
Number 5, from the garden
Number 6, fence

And the porch and my sketchbook.  I have sketched these things so much, I should be able to do them with my eyes closed.  Good practice doing that, too.  :)

Some storms predicted for this evening, probably just enough to interfere with baseball.  Texas plays Texas State.  We are Texas fans but Larry did go to Texas State and we have big bucks invested there, too.  So ....  Gene will wear his TS cap and UT shirt and I will wear a pin from TS on my UT shirt,  but ....   It is still Hook 'em Horns, though, for tonight!

School let out early yesterday due to predicted bad weather. Of course the storms did not hit until evening, but we were all safe. Electricity went off for most of the evening. Thank goodness for our tablets.

Lucky you or maybe smart you, mine would have had a dead battery!

Our storms here were not much. We got .67 inches of rain about 3 or 4 this morning. Beautiful now but supposed to get up to 90! I'm with Gene, our batteries are usually dead. Goes with our age, maybe. Ha.

still looks like you have a lot of space in the tome of a sketchbook :)

Thanks, Jennifer Rose. Skies are beautiful almost anywhere.

Filling the sketchbook is taking some time. How long? Who knows?
