I have been checking out Joan Tavolott's http://watercolorsbyjoan2.blogspot.com/ new sketches on her iPad so that inspired my sketch on the iPad today. She is a prolific sketcher as I have mentioned before. You should look at her watercolor sketches that she does outdoors almost every day. We have a lot of fun on the Scavenger Hunts.
I sketched for Scavenger Hunt 430 http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1393379 on my iPad with "Brushes" and my fingers. Just a few minutes with as few undos as possible.
Number 1, fire - Gene said it looks artificial. Well, the fire is from the electric fireplace, right? Artificial..
We had been trying to figure out what to do with the Thunderbird. Gene enjoyed it but couldn't work on it himself. He decided to donate it back to The Bugle Boy where he won it.
When we went to check out the train station in Austin for our Thanksgiving trip, Gene talked to a guy that said he and his brother were looking for a classic car. Then gentleman mentioned that his brother was in the roofing business. Gene told him that he had a 1965 T-Bird and that The Bugle Boy needed a roof and there you have it. Car trade for roof! Donation to The Bugle Boy and they bartered for the roof. Yay! Good things go around.
Saying goodbye to the Thunderbird.
Bye, bye!

how lucky to meet a guy needing a classic car who knew a roofer lol :)
I saw fire and my mind thought oh no, not again, and thankfully not :)
Hi, Jennifer, I didn't think of that when I put "fire" in the title. Scary. It was serendipity for sure on the roof!
