I sketched this morning before it warmed up enough to go for a walk. I sat at the dining table with the sun on my back. Ha.
I sketched in the same book with the same pen for Scavenger Hunt 413. http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1383828
Number 12, works better when sharpened - these knives need a good sharpening, they are pretty bad.
Number 13, utensil collection - they have a good supply of utensils and silverware in this rental.
Some of you may not know we are in Angel Fire, even though we have been here the last few years in the summer. You can read about it here:
Angel Fire Resort http://www.angelfireresort.com/

Vietnam Memorial State Park, one of the most special places https://www.vietnamveteransmemorial.org/
It has been 45 - 50 degrees F in the mornings and about 70 - 75 in the afternoons with rain showers at some point. Rain should be about over. Come on up and enjoy the cool weather!
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

The knives look like putty knives. Perhaps they're not supposed to be sharp! :-)
I can just picture you at the window with the sun on your back.
I think we are going to rent my brother's house in Taos from Aug 7-15. Bo and family may be with us the first part of that week. I tell Sophie to practice up on her signing for Gene.
Ha, Joanna! The dark lines are the knife blades in a plastic knife holder by Rubbermaid. They do look like putty knives. You are too clever for me.
Bag Blog, Oh, that will be super. We have 4 tickets for the Byrd and Street house concert in Taos on the 7th, do we need to get more?? You would love them.
I have been a bit chilled here. Long sleeves get me through. :)
Ah. Now I see it! Sorry. :-)
Don't be sorry, Joanna. I can see what you are seeing. Those putty knives would sure need sharpening. Tee hee.
looks like a lot of stuff to do up there, and something for everyone it seems
we use an Easy Sharp for all our knives, works great :)
Jennifer Rose., we don't do much cooking and I brought a knife from home, ha.
Ha, Jennifer! That sounds like we will be cooking, doesn't it? I just carry a table knife, spoon, and sharp knife when we pack the coffee and snacks. You never know.........
