A Few More Sketches

Sketching in the comfort of the screened in porch is just my thing.  It was nice and cool after the rain.  We may get some more rain but it is very scattered.  We got 2.2 inches yesterday and last night.

I sketched in the large sketchbook with a Micron 03.

For Scavenger Hunt 409  http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1381721

Number 3, animal with 2 legs
Number 4, animal with 6 legs - not sure what that flying insect is.  It was about an inch long with a short body.

Number 5, black and white - the trailers in the yard
Number 6, animal with 4 legs - Mothers Day Bear in my studio sitting on an easel.

Glad you had a comfortable outdoor place to sit and do your sketches. I was wondering how you were doing with the rain down there.

Ha! Joanna

Joan, thanks, seems the rain is about gone. It hit Oklahoma and that way pretty hard after here.

Jennifer Rose, sounds like the hawkmoth would be better to sketch than my unknown bug. :)

the moth is really interesting looking, have only seen them in photos tho, they are a bit west of here when they pass :/

Texas size mosquitoes sure look a lot like hummingbirds. Just teasing.
