Pastel Painting from Photos Class

My class at the Bastrop Fine Arts Guild Gallery, Tuesday, April 14, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, will be about painting from photos.

We will talk about color, cropping, aerial perspective and more.  We will try it out with our soft pastels.

Sign up for the class at the Guild Gallery,
815 Main Street
Bastrop Texas 78602
512-321-8055

Bring a photo or two, paper to sketch and surface to work on.  If you are a beginner and have no pastels I always bring extra so you can feel welcome to come try them out.  I will demo and explain as we get started.  Class size limited, so get signed up.

Hope to see you there!

Here is a sample painting done from a photo and memories from around the corner from our house.
