Well, I hit post before I had written anything. Is that typical of me?
I missed David's birthday yesterday. Well, we didn't miss it but I didn't post here about it. He is the father of our only grandchildren and they all live in Kentucky. We visited on the internet and by phone but were not there to get in the celebrations. I did post about Christy's birthday a few days ago. They celebrated along with Cindy whose birthday is later in the month. Cindy is our grandson, Cole's, wife. A three person birthday party. Pretty cool! You can see my post from last year for David, here

Hopefully we will get to Kentucky for Thanksgiving and maybe we will see David and Lisa in New Mexico this summer.
Happy Belated Birthday, David!!

Today is my internet painting buddy, Bag Blog's birthday. Happy Birthday, Lou! I didn't know today was her birthday which is interesting because I bought her a gift on Friday night. I just didn't know that I bought it for her birthday!
Here's hoping the birthdays are/were great!
You can put their names in my search box above, left and find out more about them.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Happy birthday to Cindy and David (already said happy birthday to Christy:)
Wow, you bought me a gift?! That's pretty special. Can't wait.
Toby's niece had a baby boy this morning to share my birthday.
Lots of good presents!
Bag Blog, I hope they see your comments. Christy did. Ah, sweet to have a new baby today. The present is in the mail like they used to say, The Check is in the Mail....
I ordered my own b-day gift. It should be in from Cheap Joe's tomorrow. Jesse said she ordered form ETSY and I should receive my gift sometime. And now you are sending me something. I will be having a birthday all week - getting things in the mail!
You are learning! Birthdays should last a minimum of a week. Gene and I celebrate in New Mexico and then again when we get back to Texas with the kids!
