It is quiet here and going to be beautiful. I will be off to Smithville with my friend, "T", to an art show. The theme for the show is "Red" and you know me.

Baseball note: The Longhorns won their opening game with Rice in Houston last night, 3-1! They play a double header today and another game tomorrow. Great team to open against and get some good experience. Hook 'em Horns!

As soon as I saw that you had posted for Valentine's Day, I wondered what stuffed animal Gene got you. I got Toby a Valentine's Day card in Spanish.
And baseball season is off!
Bag Blog, I would have never guessed a unicorn! It was a good day. T and I went to the art show and shopped the antique stores, then came back and had dinner with Gene at Bassano's Italian restaurant then home to wine and coffee on the porch!
Bag Blog, the Horns opened the season at Rice with a 4 game series. They won the first 3-1, lost the second 9-10 and lost the third 2-5. Game today at 1p.m. Hope they win! First game at home is Tuesday evening with temps in the 40s. Doubt we will go if it is that bad. It was 82.8 yesterday. You never know, right?
