Sketches for Hunt 388

I'm hosting Scavenger Hunt 388.  http://goo.gl/ahg8ba I haven't sketched much over the holidays, but should get back in the swing now.

These are in my large sketchbook with a Micron 05.  Freehand and a bit too quick.

Number 4, Large appliance - washer.  The washer and dryer sit on a raised platform so we need a stool to reach in the tub.  The first owner must have been super tall.  The counters are all higher than normal.  I like that.  You don't have to bend over to do dishes, etc.

Number 5, top - the top of a table.  It is tooled leather in a very intricate design from Peru.  I did not go for detail!

By the way, the colored pens Joanna gave me are Micron 005.  Much finer lines.  We shall see how they last compared to the ones I usually use.

We are off to see Terri Hendrix and Lloyd Maines today.  Great music.  I should sketch at concerts, but I get too involved in the listening!   http://www.terrihendrix.com/

Another blog friend told me she had gotten a new top-load washer. This woman is tall and large. She told me that she had to have a stool to reach in. I looked at such a washer last fall when my washer died. I would have needed a ladder to reach inside it.

I didn't realize the pens were smaller! I hope they work out okay.

And, the music was great fun. Terri and Lloyd are always lots of fun.

Bag Blog, I love the washer. I was told that it would last longer than the front loader, less parts. It uses very little water and cleans so well. Many cycles, though. The computer part better last!! About 30 choices when you set it to wash. Hot, cold, bulky, spin, whites, with variations of all. Ha. It decides how much time it needs and how much water. That is one choice you don't make - size of load.

Joanna, thanks again for the pens. The finer line can be helpful. So the ink should actually last longer. :-) The nib, I'm not so sure.

The concert was super! Everyone should try to see Terri.
