Professional Photos a la Larry

We always  think, "Oh I could take a photo of that!"  And, we probably could but someone that is a professional will get the perfect look or the perfect light on a person, scene or animal.

I strive to have my art business as professional as possible.  At this late stage in my career I try to keep current and improve my "brand" as much as possible.  I have been looking at websites and those that have great photos, catch my eye.

I decided to go for it and have my photo taken by a professional.  Lucky for me, I have a great photographer in my own small world, Larry, our son!  He came to Bastrop yesterday and we went for it.  Larry took my photos inside as it was drizzling and cold outside.  Plein air panting shots are in the future.

Larry is putting his magic touch to my wrinkled mug. I am anxious to see the results.   Updating my website, blog and other social media will quickly follow.  The money is well spent.  Quality results are in my future!

Larry takes corporate photos, sports, weddings and everything in between.  Make an appointment soon. His business is in San Marcos, Texas.

A quick sketch I did of Larry at work at a baseball game.  Not very accurate but a great memory all the same.

Jesse has been doing her student teaching and the school has a dark room. Jes took my picture with her old film camera so that she could play in the dark room. We will see how it turns out. It is nice to have talented people in the family.

Bag Blog, It will be fun to see how our photos came out a la Jesse and Larry. Looking forward to seeing them.

Joan, It is lucky to have access. I got a "family" discount. Having good photos taken is a bit expensive but well worth it. :)
