Sketching a Shelf on iPad

I sketched in the dining area today.  The temperature was a cool 55 degrees F. and it was windy so the porch was not my idea of comfy.  Gene sat out there and read his paper on his computer and didn't mind.  Hmmm.

Joanna gave me a couple of new styluses for Mother's Day.  I will get you a photo of them.  I tried the LinkTec one today.  It has a brush tip as well, but it doesn't seem interactive with the programs I have.  I will look and see in the preferences if that helps, but no time for that now.

I sketched on the iPad with the Brushes App.  It probably took about thirty minutes.  I was going to try a different app today, but my mind wouldn't work so I used my comfort app.  I'm used to it and makes sketching more relaxing.  The stylus worked pretty well.  I have a pretty thick screen protector and it didn't quite slide sometimes.  I will get used to it with practice.

For Scavenger Hunt #359.
Number 1, shelf with the contents.  This shelf is between the dining and living area and the corner of the kitchen.

I worked on the pastel painting and hope to post it tomorrow.  It seems done, but I do like to let it sit for a while.

We are off for an early dinner.  Hope you have a great weekend!

Hi Jo! Just catching up on your blog. Love the paintings below and your setup for plein air painting on the porch. Enjoy!

Is the painting you refer to the one you told me on the phone today that you're starting over for the 4th time? I hope not since you say here that it's finished!

Joan, thank you. As busy as you are I do appreciate you checking in. As you know, painting out and with friends is a fun thing to do!
