Delicious! and Baseball Note

I couldn't decide which was delicious or a treat.  The jar was obvious.  I do like Nutella.  I discovered Nutella from our Canadian friends and it is delicious, too.

This sketch is in the large sketchbook with a Prismacolor Premier 03 pen, done quickly and freehand as always!  I only pre-draw in pencil if I plan to make a drawing.  Sketched for Scavenger Hunt 357.

Number 4, delicious
Number 5, goodie
Number 6, jar

Baseball note:

Well, the Oklahoma State Cowboys did it again and beat The University of Texas Longhorns.  A very interesting day.  Beautiful weather and nice company in our area.  There are not many home runs in the Disch.  Craig McConaughy hit one yesterday with a teammate on base in the top of the second inning.  He is an Austin native so it was a happy/sad occasion.  Ha.  Here is a nice article about the game and Craig.  http://goo.gl/16UZDX  from a San Antonio Home Page blog which is interesting, too.  Bag Blog should appreciate this article.  Oh, and here is the Oklahoma State version.  http://goo.gl/r7Bb3G

Ouch!  It was a nice home run and later there were a couple more.  Tres Barerra, Longhorn, answered with a solo home run in the bottom of the second.  Then Zach Fish hit a 2 run homer in the top of the fourth.  These make 8 total home runs for the season at the Disch.  The Horns could not come back and lost 8 - 3.  The sadest part for me was that it was Senior Day.  It was the last conference home game for Nathan Thornhill, the great pitcher, Mark Payton, Jacob Felts, Alex Silver, Madison Carter and Weston Hall.  You can read the UT version and see a photo of the Seniors here.  http://goo.gl/1iGStV

There are two more home games on Tuesdays and two series away, West Virginia and Kansas State.  Then the Big 12 Tournament in Oklahoma City which they didn't even make last year.  Hopefully the Horns will finish strong and we will get a Regional Tournament here.  I am always sad for the season to end ... but it isn't over yet!

The teams warming up with Oklahoma State using the batting cage.  They are in their warm up shorts.  Their uniforms weren't so bad yesterday as in the previous post.  I didn't get a photo though.  Shucks.

The Longhorns putting away the cages.

Nice sketch of both treats. The Nutella is making my mouth water. I discovered it in France on crepes. I was eating so much of it that I had to stop buying it. LOL

If someone had to beat the Longhorns, I'm glad it was OSU. I just hope the Longhorns make it to the tournament so maybe we get to see you and Gene.

Joan, I know! Nutella is so good and soooo many calories. I have to not think about it. Ha.

Bag Blog, at this point Gene says we aren't going but his mind changes pretty darn quickly! OSU is doing so well!

That Longhorn baseball team is going to be the death of me.

Joanna, you are so right about those Longhorns. They barely won the Kansas State series and KS is last in the conference. Sigh.......
