Sketches and Reminders

I sketched inside this morning.  It was about 50 degrees out and that is not porch sitting weather for me.  I sketched for Scavenger Hunt 349 in the large sketchbook with the Prismacolor Premier 03, quickly and free hand.

Number 1, feather.  This item comes up on the list every once in a while.  I picked up this feather in the yard a few months ago.  Nice to have a real feather for the Hunt!  We have Honeybee Maids to clean our house.  They have never mentioned the feather to me when they dust.  Hmmm.  (By the way, if you are in the Bastrop area and need regular maid service, window cleaning or a one time spring cleaning or special help give Ruben and Danny a call.  They are excellent!  512 629-6094 or the website honeybeemaids.com )

Number 2, chain and Number 3, connector - Gene has a handmade silver chain that he wears daily.  It is made with flat round links like little washers connected with silver wire in loops.  Very different and beautiful.  The connector is silver, too.

And for reminders:

Great sketches. And, the weather was great this weekend for baseball!

You lead a busy life. It would be fun to see you featured at the Art Walk.

I don't normally cheer for UT, but I hope their baseball team does well and maybe we get to see you at the tournament in OKC.

Joanna, thank you. Hope the weather holds for tomorrow's game!

Bag Blog, you saw the start of this painting in Arkansas.

I hope we get to OKC as well. They need all the cheering they can get for whatever reason! Lots of fair weather fans, as they say. :)
