You can’t beat the combination of good music, beautiful artwork, beautiful scenery and good food!
If you agree with that, please come to our house on Sunday, October 13. Our good friends, musicians Byrd and Street will provide the songs and artwork. I met Tommy Byrd at the Bastrop Fine Arts Guild way back when and we went to hear them play over at the Crossing. There was a pizza place there at the time. It was great to meet Kathy Street and listen to them. Then Gene and I began attending their concerts in Austin and the surrounding area. It is so nice to hear them in a cozy setting with no microphones. You will be well entertained and have a great afternoon.
After the music, Gene will dish up his special brisket with trimmings and beverages. You can get to know Tommy and Kathy. Their artwork is wonderful. Tommy works in black and white drawings and Kathy does acrylics and oils. Of course my paintings will be on display, too. (all for sale)
