Actually, Mary Maxam paints gardens, flowers, mountains and many more subjects. I receive her newsletter and enjoy her take on art and life. I follow her blog where she shares her expertise with us and also has a painting giveaway every month. I haven't been posting regularly about my own painting as I haven't been doing much painting. I signed up for a challenge on wetcanvas.com in the Southwest forum to do 10 small paintings this month so I am going to try. The challenge is a painting a day or as many as you sent a goal for. I figured I can always pass my goal. Heh, heh.
My friend, Sue Modrak, will be here next week. We usually cram as much art as we can into her visits, so be prepared. One of the posts I did after she visited has one of her sketches.
