I will be giving a pastel demo at the Lost Pines Artisams Alliance, 301 Burleson, Smithville, TX, Tuesday, June 19 at 7:00 p.m. It will include using a pastel underpainting with water and there will be a door prize and hand out information. You are welcome to come, meet some local artists and see the current exhibit.
I sketched yesterday for Scavenger Hunt 271. It is another fun list. All songs with one word titles. If you go to the thread on wetcanvas you can see the list with links to the songs. Thanks, Irwin.
I sketched in the brown paper sketchbook with the Prismacolor Premier 08 pen with a few touches of colored pencil.
Number 1, honey and Number 2, Beautiful. Our view is beautiful, I did not do it justice in the sketch.
Number 3, Home - the corner with the newly screened in porch. I left out a bit by the hanging flower, didn't even notice, shows how good I am at architecture.

The demo sounds fun. Wished we lived closer.
Bag Blog, that would be neat if you could be there. Thanks.
Hope the demo goes well.
I love that you drew the Bobby Goldsboro song. Such a sad song. :-)
Joanna, I love that song, too. We lived in Roswell about the time that was pretty popular and the lady next door was Honey. She passed away suddenly. It was just like the song came true. Sad....
Really nice sketches, Jo! The color adds so much.
Regina, thanks. Color does help on the quick sketches. Will try my new watercolor on the trip to Alaska.
