First I will get a photo of an old painting from Picasa.
Toward Water Canyon, pastel on board, 10 x 16 inches
This pastel is one of my favorites. I like the detail without being picky about it and the colors. It feels very natural to me. Of course it is near my home town and as kids we never even looked at it. We did go there for an occasional picnic. There is a public campground. The canyon is in the Cibola National Forest. The painting is in a private collection in Albuquerque.
Now a painting from my website.
La Puerta, pastel, 11x14, framed with mat to 16 x 20
This is another painting that I like. You know that I like doors and adobe. I painted this in 2006. I have had many good compliments when folks see it, but it has never found a buyer. The right person hasn't seen it I suppose. It is in the show in Killeen (info on the sidebar). Maybe this year. I always like it at the house, it just fits somehow. Maybe I am the perfect owner!

Note:
Posting from Blogsy worked well. I put up a photo from my iPad and that did not work. It was too big. I thought I was editing the post and it just posted it again. I have some things to learn! Bear with me......

Hey Jo!
I haven't had that problem with blogsy - but all of my images on the ipad are small.
Love these images...
Rose
Rose, I'm sure it is in settings. I will get there eventually.m thanks for the idea. It will be good for our trips.
Hi Jo!
I LOVE La Puerta! Yummy colors
Teresa, thank you. Guess the grandmother thing is keeping you busy. Nice to see you!
Teresa, I forgot to say that it was appropriate that you stopped by today as I am eating blueberries from the USA and not from Chile!
I Endorse Blogspot, thanks. I'm sure I will be hanging in there. I'm a bit old to be learning all this new stuff!
I'm sure the perfect blogging app is out there...and maybe it'll be blogsy!
Like the paintings.
Hugs...
Joanna, you are right. Each program seems to do one thing better than the other. Guess I don't have to use just one.
