Catching Up Photos

When I don't post for ages, I never know where to start.  I have sketched, painted and taken photos that I think you might be interested in, so....  I will start with the photos.

You can see the side of the house now!

This star was on the side of the old house.  Jeff Snyder made it.  We haven't cleaned the ashes off or decided where to put it.  Hmm.

Sunrise a few days ago

The back side of the sunrise

The lake, midday.

Moon over the house.
Garage door openers in and we can put both cars in the garage.

Gene got the clotheslines up.

And the bird feeder, too.
The clotheslines and bird feeder poles are from the other house.  Gene's brother made the clothesline poles years ago.  The bird feeder poles were on a play set attached to a playhouse when we bought the other house.  Never used in our time by kids as the swings were missing.  Ha.  The birds and squirrels have enjoyed them.

Picnic tables at the golf course, guess discarded by the park service?

Gene fishing for balls.  So good that we finally walked nine holes yesterday!
Just updating our life a bit.  Now I will go post some sketches.

Great pics of the house and so wonderful to see them. My favorites? The clotheline and bird feeder poles!

B Lancton, thank you so much. It was good to bring a few of our old things along. The house is beginning to feel like home. :)

I have to have a clothesline. I have no bird feeders, but now that my killer cat is gone, I guess I could get some feeders.

Bag Blog, I love to hang my sheets outside, they smell so good. Otherwise we mostly use the dryer. I think we always end up feeding squirrels, but we like to watch the birds. There are many crows and vultures around. We have seen one hawk and one egret (not at the feeder . ha).

Thanks for sharing the photos of your pretty new home! Love the clothes line and feeders. You've got to find a place for that star - it's a survivor! So glad your new year is off to a good start

Thanks, Rosemary. I hope to get some pictures up of the finished parts of the house and the state of my studio which is still a mess. Slowly we are getting there!
