Scavenger Hunting 232/23 and Note (You can win a prize)

Scavenger Hunt 232 ended on August 7 but I am posting the last sketches for the record.  I have been sketching on the deck in the morning while enjoying the cool weather and the hummingbirds.  I did these yesterday in the living room, however,  with the Prismacolor pen in the Utrecht sketchbook.

Number 5, light - the spotlight on the slanted ceiling in the living room.  Number 6, window coverings - the coverings on the window in the living room.

I sketched on the deck today for Hunt 233 with the same equipment,  quickly and freehand as usual.


Number 1, leaf on a limb - the aspen leaves across the way.  Number 2, elastic - the bottom of my sweats around my ankle.

I am painting today getting ready to post soon for your chance to comment and win an issue of The Artist's Magazine and be in a drawing for Maggie Price's new book, "Painting Sunshine and Shadows with Pastels".  It is a great book.  Stay tuned!

I tried to take pictures of the hummingbirds, but the little boogers were just to fast for me.

Bag Blog, we have great photos from last year. Haven't tried many this year. They sure don't stay put! Fun to watch.
