We are in Albuquerque with our "kids".  All adults now.  I must be getting old.  I am waiting to to to Magdalena to see relatives so decided to sketch a bit for Scavenger Hunt 233.

Number 8 - toes; Number 9 - hose and number 10 - green, the chair in the hotel.  Sketched in the Utrecht sketchbook with a Prismacolor 05 pen/marker.

When we got to New Mexico in July it was soooooo dry.  In fact it was dry all the way from home (Texas) 700 + miles worth.  It continues to be dry in Texas and they/you are still sweltering.  New Mexico has had some rains, especially in the mountains so the parks are open again and it is looking pretty in some areas.  Nice around Angel Fire and the Enchanted Circle:  Taos, Questa, Red River, Eagle Nest and Angel Fire.

For those of you that have forgotten what rain clouds look like, here are a couple of photos coming into Albuquerque yesterday.  They did produce some rain, too.
