Sketches for Hunt 229, Really!

We arrived at the hotel in Albuquerque about 2 p.m. after having lunch with Gene's sister, Gloria.  I then decided to take the day off!  I have  "after show" things to do, but I was just too tired.  Today we will get the door prize ready to mail, mail two paintings that were sold over the phone.  Sometime I will have to update my website and mailing list.  In the hotel the internet is slow so I will probably wait to update my page when we get to Angel Fire this weekend.  In the meantime I sketched a little while relaxing in the hotel.

I sketched in the Utrecht brown paper sketchbook with the Prismacolor Premier 03 marker/pen for Scavenger Hunt #229.  As usual, no pre sketching with pencil.  I sketch freehand, hoping to train my eyes to see and put down the lines quickly.

Number 2, analgesic - aspirin.  Number 4, anywhere - the scene from the hotel room.  Number 5, apparel - Gene's jacket and shirt.

Number 3, alarm clock.  Number 6, art supply - the Prismacolor pen I am using.  Number 7, antique - the ring on my ring finger is silver and turquoise that was my mother's.  It is over 100 years old.  The other is about 10 years old and is also silver and turquoise.

Number 8, apple or other fruit.  Gene's breakfast this morning.

Number 9, allergen - bread (gluten for me)
