We are headed from Socorro, New Mexico, to Albuquerque today. It is still pretty warm here and showers are forecast. The showers so far have been far and few between. There were flash flood warnings last night, mainly as it has been so dry and any run off will cause flash floods. I thought it was raining in Magdalena last night, but it did not. It is supposed to be 84 degrees in Albuquerque today. Not too bad, eh?
I will post tonight about the door prize winner and more art news.
If you are in Austin, Byrd and Street are having their party for their new CD release. The CD is really fine, we got a copy before we left. If you haven't been to one of their shows, you are missing a good time and great music. Check it out tonight at Threadgills and say hello for us:

The door prize is very nice. I love the sagebrush and colors. Glad you made it to Alb. I wish I were there with the temps like 85.
Thanks, Bag Blog. It was 85 in Magdalena. Albuquerque is about 95 but dryer than home or your country so you can be cool in the shade, right? Hope to see you this summer! We go to Angel Fire on Friday, July 15.
Nice job on the door prize painting!
Joanna, thanks. I used the mountains across the street from Peppers and my imagination for the scene.
