More Sketches for 231

Beautiful morning on the deck.  The chipmunk did not appear, but there were hummingbirds and the robin.

I sketched in the same sketchbook with the same pen.  Ah, if you are new that is an Ultrecht sketchbook and a Prismacolor Premier 03 pen.

Number 3 - wild animal - my second attempt, I substituted the robin the day before, but yesterday in the evening this chipmunk showed up.  Very cute eating leaves.  The hummers were noisy and plentiful, too.

Number 4, evergreen - the same two that I can see from the deck.  Number 5, made of wood - the deck and entrances across the way.  The condos are all made of wood, too.

My painting buddy, Sue, from Michigan is arriving tomorrow.  Yay!  We will pick her up in Albuquerque.  While she is here we will have marathon plein air painting from sunup to sundown.  Hope I can find the energy in this old body.  May or may not have time to post much, maybe at night.  It will be fun, whatever we do.  Gene usually rides his bike and we go out for dinner.  Better go get ready!
