The day in Magdalena was great. The day starts with the parade. My reception was from 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m. I didn't get any photos of the visitors to the gallery. There were quite a few. The jewelry and pottery is on sale, 50% off. Great buys as Marky always has the best prices around anyway. I sold a couple of paintings and some of my Cafepress goodies. It was fun to visit with old friends and make new ones. There were many of our family there, too.

Sarah was a childhood friend of Gloria's. She came to meet me at my show from Wilcox, Arizona. She deserves a prize for making the longest trip. No, wait, it must have been Roger, Gene's brother, coming from Sierra Vista, Arizona. It was fun to see and meet Sarah. She has the first of my Magdalena Mountain paintings. It was such a coincidence that Gloria was there at the same time. They hadn't seen each other since elementary school.
This balanced rock formation is one of my favorite photo opportunities. I think I will paint it again. I painted it several years ago and a friend bought it. We had never noticed the balanced rock until about 8 or so years ago. This is between Magdalena and Socorro, New Mexico.

You always have such fun. I like the 57 Chevy and the parade. The mountain photo has great light - it will make a nice painting.
Hi, Bag Blog! Yes we have fun and usually an adventure of some sort. Today was interesting, but it is too late to post.
That's very cool about Sarah and Gloria hooking up.
Yes, Joanna, very cool. And, that Sarah came so far. Wow. It was nice to meet her. Maybe I knew her, too, but we didn't remember.
