I seem to find time to sketch a little but no time to post! David and I were talking sketching and he did a couple. They are good considering he doesn't sketch as often as I do. He is starting to practice more for his metal and wood working. Guess I won't post those without permission.
I sketched in the Utrecht sketchbook with the Prismacolor pen. I seem to still pretty much with one surface and medium for a while, eh? Maybe I will get back to pastels this week as my painting buddy, Sue, arrives on Tuesday! Marathon painting time!!

Number 11, brave. A poor sketch of the flag, sorry. I do love our flag and this does not do it justice.
We toured around a bit again yesterday. Here are a few photos.

I remember the old plaza in Taos and festivities there. One of the locals told me how everyone used to gather there in the evenings to visit.
When are you gonna paint those blue doors?
Bag Blog, my Mom lived in Santa Fe when she was in high school and said everyone gathered at the plaza and drove and/or walked around to visit and flirt. Must have been the same. Now it is pretty much the tourists, eh?
Yes, Joanna, I've been thinking of blue doors! So far, no time to paint here. Sue comes Tuesday, maybe we will finally paint.
I love those skirts and all the colors. And more beautiful clouds!
Regina, thanks. We waited around for quite a while but the girls and boys didn't start to dance. It was supposed to be a dress rehearsal for the weekend, but.... Guess they were having trouble getting organized. They were all very cute.
