For my show in Magdalena at Old Timers, I always paint a painting and give it away as a door prize. I worked on the painting on Friday and Sunday. This year I painted with acrylic paints on Gessobord made by
Ampersand. It was 8 x 8 inches with a 1/2 inch border so it does not have to be framed. The Ampersand company is in Austin and they make great panels for painting. I use their Pastelbord for most of my pastel paintings as it is so easy to frame against the glass.
Back to the door prize, I finished it up on Sunday. Gene had already put the hanger on it and it was ready to go. We had the drawing at 3:00 p.m and the winner was Katherine H. from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. I gave her a call and she was excited to be a winner. We mailed it off to her this morning from here in Albuquerque. Congratulations to Katherine!

Congrats to Katherine.
What was Dad up to at the Apple store?
Ignore that question. I'm sure I'll find out elsewhere. :-)
Joanna, I'm sure you will find out about what your dad was up to in the Apple Store. He was getting a new screen protector.
Katherine was excited when I called her.
