Sketches for Hunt 226 and Baseball Photos

I sketched a bit at parking lot for baseball.  We sat in the shade and waited for the game to start.  Not exactly a tail gate party, but......

I sketched for Scavenger Hunt 226 in my small purse size sketchbook with a Pilot ball point pen.  I sketch freehand as quickly as I can.  It is good for my "eye" to practice putting down lines quickly.

I started this on June 13.  Can't believe I haven't posted for the sketches and for baseball.  Wow.

Here are the sketches for June 13, Hunt 226.

Number 1, Parking lot - at the baseball parking lot, waiting for time to go in.  Our car door open as we were sort of tailgating, having wine, reading and sketching.

Number 2, tree trunk, Number 3 vine, Number 4 soil - while we were tailgating.

Number 5, ceiling light - at the lab for blood work.  Bonus of another vine.

Number 6. table lamp - at the lab on the sign in counter.

The Longhorn Baseball team won the Super Regional on Sunday, June 12, after loosing the first game on Friday.  What a hard way to do things.  They were in the looser's bracket for the Regionals and then had to play all three games to win 2 out of 3 for the Super Regionals.  Wow.  At any rate it is on to the College World Series!  They are in Omaha now and play tonight vs Florida.  The Longhorns won the first CWS in Rosenblatt Stadium and now could win the first CWS in the new TD Ameritrade Park.  How cool would that be?   This is their 34th trip to Omaha.  The Horns destination for the summer, they say.  :-)  Hook 'em Horns!

A few photos from Sunday.  My little point and shoot will not take good photos after it gets dark, so her you go:

The scoreboard with Sam Stafford pitching.

Sam Stafford, warming up.
Arizona State brought two bat boys, that is always fun.

And, the Longhorns won and go to Omaha!!! Yay!!
