Sketching for Hunt 209

I don't have much to show art-wise for the weekend.  We went to the  Fan Appreciation Day Alumni Game at The University of Texas.  It was a good weather day and the game was fun.  We got to see quite a few of the old timers!  And of course the Longhorns won.  :)  The new Longhorns won, actually.  You can read about it on Joanna's Longhorn Baseball Page.   And see a video on the official UT Baseball page.

We also had a visit from Larry.  He was taking photos at the  Tough Mudder Texas.  Pretty interesting.  He was all muddy, too.  I'm not sure if these are any of his photos.  He spent a while on Saturday night cleaning his cameras!  He took hundreds of photos.

Here are sketches I did yesterday and today.  Regular sketchbooks with a Pilot ball point pen.

They are numbered wrong, but anyway.  The first was seasonal - the last of the poinsettias from the Christmas season, stripes - on the cloth under the plant.  Interesting shadow - from the wine glass; it had pink in the light part of the shadow from the red wine.  Technology - some equipment at the doctor's office and shiny - the paper towel holder with the reflections of the cabinet.  Last, sticker - the credit card stickers on the window at the office.
