I will keep posting as I should be sketching on the road!
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Jo, you are such a busy lady!!! I love the painting of the car below. I have a hard time painting cars...they just don't seem as easy as landscapes.
I've been traveling (Wichita) and am trying to catch up.
Thanks, Joan. After this I can sketch more again! Cars have rounded curves and no edges, hard to portray. Safe trip! Later.
You do seem busy. I wish I were closer to take advantage of your demos. Have a good Thanksgiving break.
Speaking of calendars, I ordered and got one of your calendars in the mail. I love it!
Bag Blog, I keep thinking I am slowing down, but it is only in the preparations. Ha. Thank you for ordering a calendar, I am pleased with how they came out, too.
Have fun Jo, it's a great crowd in Marble Falls, very eager and responsive.
Rae
Thanks, Rae. I got home a while ago. It was a BIG group. We had fun and fajitas for lunch. Can't beat that!
