I will be presenting a demo in Marble Falls, Thursday, November 18 at the Highlands Art Guild and Gallery. I will be doing a pastel landscape to show how to find the light in painting plein air or from photos. The program will cover using an underpainting wet with water using pastels or watercolors. Then how to develop this into a finished painting.
We will discuss the business side of art using websites, facebook and blogs.
Lunch is included in the day which starts at 9:30 a.m. (free of charge) Then after lunch, we will have hands on experimenting with the pastels on regular paper and sanded Colourfix paper.
There is always a door prize at my demonstrations and hand outs, too.
