Hunt 184 Sketches and photos.

I've had a little time for sketching. These are for Scavenger Hunt 184 done in my Canson, 7 x 10 inch sketchbook with a Micron 005 pen. I sketch freehand as you can really tell in these. I do think sketching helps my painting, but I need to pay more attention for it to really pay off. I can doodle my life away and not get much from it. The ellipses in the coffee pot are not very good or at least they are not the same for the lid and the bottom. Hmmm.

Number 7, creamer - I substituted the coffee pot in the hotel. Number 9, back of head - a head with hair would have been easier. Ha.

Number 8, outdoor plant - the trees across the parking area at the next condos.

Maybe you can tell by the trees that we have arrived in Angel Fire. It was a nice drive. I will include a few photos from the drive from Albuquerque to Angel Fire. I drove part of the way, so no photos coming in to Taos.
