I have done a few sketches at the studio the last few days. I need to post them today as
Scavenger Hunt 176 ends and Hunt 177 begins.
I am the host of 177 and it is posted. I try to get it up the night before for Ai in Thailand and others in Australia and around on the other side of the world.
I sketched these for Hunt 176 in the new Canson recycled paper sketchbook that I was given at the Austin Pastel Society Show. It is about the size of notebook paper. Very nice smooth pages. The first flag is with a colored pencil and the others are with the Rotring Art Pen.

Number 6, something that flies and a challenge in two different media -- the flag out front of the studio. Number 7, broken -- the eraser on a pencil and Number 8, noisy -- the traffic out the window. It was difficult to sketch a one or two second view of cars going by. I got the back of an SUV as it was stopped. The pickup was from a couple that went by. My perspective makes the SUV look closer and about in the same lane. Ah well. There are a few items in my window and the building across the street. It was interesting to try.

Number 9, something to do with teeth -- toothpicks in an old shot glass. Number 10, slides -- the drawer slides in and out.
