We traveled our regular route on Sunday and Monday from Bastrop, Texas to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The wildflowers in central Texas are so beautiful. It was not quite the peak of bluebonnet season, but close.
Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush
My favorite of the Texas bluebonnets for the day.
Cotton fields between Big Spring and La Mesa
The bleak plains between Roswell, New Mexico and Clines Corners, New Mexico.
Coming into Tijeras Canyon east of Albuquerque on I-40.

There are more photos of this route here , on my Picasa page, and you can see other photo albums taken in New Mexico.
And what's up with the Longhorns (UT Baseball)? Check out Joanna's Longhorn Baseball Page to read all about it.
