The Saturday game was so much the opposite. The temperature was a cold 41 degrees F. Ouch or Brrr! The game went the full nine innings with the opposite score. Drat. Sunday I went to the Austin Pastel Society reception and missed the game. Gene stayed home and listened on-line. It wasn't quite as cold .. about 50 degrees but so windy. Joanna went all alone. Texas won 13 - 3 with the 10 run rule ending the game in 8 innings. Tuesday evening the Longhorns play Rice. That is always a good game.
There were about 4 or 5 deer out in the yard this afternoon. They blend in so well and are so fast, this is the only photo that turned out. It looks like she has a branch attached to her head for camouflage doesn't it?
After posting this another post showed at the bottom of my post in the "You Might Like This". I posted about deer and baseball on March 23, 2008. Mentioned Nebraska, too. Quirky!

Your grandson is quite handsome - would he like to meet my daughter - ha.
Yesterday our dogs chased two white-tail deer across the pasture. I'm sure our red-heeler dog thought that those were some odd cows.
I'm sure Cole would love to meet your granddaughter! He seems to be quite the flirt!
PS: I don't mind the picture of me, either. Usually I hate those!
Joanna, it is Bag Blog, Lou's, daughter. Thanks, I, too, think Cole would like to meet Jessie!
I liked your pictures and not mine!
Bag Blog, we are always surprised to see the deer. No one near by feeds them, I guess they are running out of open ground. :( I would have liked to see the dogs chasing them.
