Sketches Hunt 165

I am hosting Scavenger Hunt 165 which started on the ninth so I decided I better sketch something. These are with a Prismacolor Fine Line Marker, size 05. Nice pens, more on that later as I am trying them out and will post about them. Freehand in a 7 x 10 inch sketchbook.

Number 1, potted plant. Well, if you saw my last potted plant, you would know what to expect. Because we are gone in the summer all my houseplants have bit the dust .. or turned to dust. You can't make a corn plant into a cactus, they need more water. Ha. So this is the pot with a sad little parrot on a stick waiting for a new plant.


Number 2, steps. These are the stairs to the left of my computer. It is a bad angle to start with and I never get better at drawing them. Lack of interest maybe.

So now, it is off to work on taxes, actually on catching up paperwork on my art business so I can do taxes. We also are going to lunch with Mike and Janice at the Back Door in Smithville. An interesting restaurant in an old building on the main street. Review later, perhaps.
