The weather prognosticators were right for a change. We got snow today! Real snow. It started a little after noon. It was mostly rain and sleet at first, but it finally almost covered the ground. Very interesting afternoon. It is still 35 degrees out there. The UT Baseball game scheduled for this afternoon was postponed until tomorrow. We will not get to go ... so sad. We are going to the dentist in Mexico again.
You northerners will appreciate that some offices closed early this afternoon until 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. They expect some ice on the roads I guess. I hope there isn't any, we leave early in the morning.
Here is a video and a couple of photos as documentation of our snow!
And a couple of photos:
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Wow at this rate you may have to find some place to "winter". lol
JeanneG's a funny gal! I was marveling at the very quiet video and then you spoke up. Yay.
Enjoyed the video and photos.
Brrrr...so glad the game was postponed. It was cold for the Alumni game...but at least it was dry. Today's weather would've been beyond miserable.
Ah, Jeanne, you made me laugh!
Joanna, I forget I can talk on the video. Heh, heh. Hard to keep me quiet.
Yes, very miserable for baseball and I didn't post about the good weather for the weekend. :(
Hey, I'm glad you finally got some snow!!!
Thanks, Valerie. Guess you have had enough .. and cold to go with it.`
I'm glad you got snow and I didn't for a change.
I love the snow photos!!! Just like our storms. lol
Bag Blog, I bet. Hope all is well up north. :)
Joan, If we had a storm like you get everything would come to a halt here! There was no ice next morning so all went well. :)
Jo: Oh so cute with your little snowfall. We have surpassed the record of 28" for February. I think we are up to 34" for the month so the snow is here.
fishing guy, I told you northerners that our snow was a laughing matter! Your photos of the snow are great. I like it far from me!!
