I had about 5 - 10 minutes of actual sketching and about 20-25 minutes to learn how to switch from brush to eraser (I didn't use that much), etc. The eraser is actually like a brush as you can make it in colors and vary the transparency. I also had to learn how to "undo" (Regina's disliked tool in digital 'painting') and change colors. It is good for my old brain for sure. Keep the grey matter busy. My excuse for the unfinished look is that Gene had to leave and took his phone!
One thing I kept doing was trying to move the sketch with my painting finger. Any touch makes a mark. To move the image around and make it larger or smaller you use two fingers. I got better as I went along, but that was what required the 'undo' button. A big plus is, that I saved it to the photo gallery on the phone and then sent it to myself via e-mail. Then when I received it, I downloaded it directly to iPhoto for storage or editing of size. I am amazed.
This is sketch number 4, peanut butter and jelly, for Scavenger Hunt 148. Sketched with new "Brushes" on the iPhone. The bottom ellipses were better before I put in the table, but as I said Gene was leaving and I had to do that very quickly, right?

Thanks, Rose. As I said before I have always doodled even with the simple graphics on the first Macs. Just using shapes and the fill tool. Such fun .. guess playing on the computer is my second hobby. :)
