I sketched in the
Art House sketchbook with a regular old Pilot ball point pen. This will double for a sketch for
Scavenger Hunt 141 as well.

Number 10, books. And thinking of you. Books remind me of Joanna and Gene especially as they both like to read. Joanna says the perfect vacation is on a hammock reading a book. Could be..... Gene likes books on tape, too, so included one of those. I enjoy reading and listening, but with all my internet reading I don't read as many books as I used to.

We went out for a while this afternoon and ended up for a late lunch in Eagle Nest. Not nearly as busy as the
day of the art show. Pretty good lunch at the Boardwalk Steakhouse. Looks like the real old west, eh?
I came back to add my artist blogger for today. A new one that
Regina pointed me to one day. (Regina has art around Austin this month, you might be able to see some in person, have a look.) I thought this post interesting by
Armand Carbrera. He has an informative blog for artists and collectors.

Does indeed look like the Old West.... seems like John Wayne should come sauntering out of the doors!
Teresa, the indoor decor was not too modern either. They do have carpet in the dining room. Looks like we will go try the steaks one night.
like the book sketch - got the look of a loose paperback nicely
Hi Azulparsnip! Thank you so much, I'm enjoying your new blog and sketches, too.
