Sneaky title, huh? I sketched for
Scavenger Hunt 129, one last time. Tomorrow is
Scavenger Hunt 130 and I am the host. I hope I have time to post quite a few sketches for a change. We will see how it goes. I did manage to get 11 items sketched the last few days from the list of 26.

Number 10, something you drink and number 11, yellow. I sketched these with a Micron 05 and colored them with colored pencils. About 20 - 30 minutes on a page in my regular 7 x 10 inch sketchbook.
Continuing with my links to blogs I follow, here are links to fairly new blogs I follow, fellow members in the
Austin Pastel Society.
Johanne Morin, lives in Austin and works in pastels and learning oils. She also does wood burning.
Rae Andrews, works in pastels and other media in Austin, too.
Sue Wiley, Austin artist that works in various media.

Those were some good links - thanks.
Jo - Your dedication to sketching is impressive and it's great that you make that part of your day. Artists sometimes feel that each effort should be "frameable", but we need to realize that our art requires practice. Like stretching before exercise, I guess.
I love the colored sketches!
Hi Bag Blog, thank you. It is fun to see what friends are doing.
Regina, thank you. As you know sketch books have been private for the most part, where artists have practiced and doodled. Now with blogs, we are sharing our secrets. :-)
Fun sketches, Jo. I printed out your Scavenger Hunt list to work on later today. I'm enjoying your links to other artists! Thanks.
Hi Joan, You will be sure to finish the Hunt before I even start. :) It is fun to discover new artists to look at their work and "how to".
I still think you should have turned number 11 90* and you would have had the number 11 showing.
Hi anonymous (Gene). It is interesting how we think, you saw the number 11 right away. I was intent on sketching the plug and only saw that as the openings into the plug. The power of words affect what we see, eh?
