Baseball Win

The Longhorns (official story) put up a nice win tonight in beautiful baseball weather. The final score was 5-2 over Texas A&M - Corpus Christi. They play again tomorrow night.

Young members of the Longhorn Reading Club (?) were out on the field for the National Anthem and the Eyes of Texas.

Conner Rowe loads the bases in the second inning fielders choice and error.

The best shot I have been able to get of the fireworks when the Horns Win.

and there is the score!

Getting ready for the Eyes of Texas.

It is late tonight, but Joanna has her story up, too.

Hi Jo...I just read your comments over on my blog, I'm glad you found me and I wanted to pay you a visit at your site. I've been looking over your blog and you have a lot of interesting stuff to read. I love baseball so this is a great time of the year, isn't it? Here in NM, we don't have many options, but we are looking forward to going to some Albuquerque Isotopes games this summer.

Elenka, this is a good time now. We had some very cold days at the beginning of the season. Thanks for stopping by.

Towanda, thank you for stopping by. I used to go to some of the Dukes (Isotopes) games with my folks. Lots of fun.

Hi Regina, thank you for your support. Do you remember the Bartles and James commercials?

Regina Calton Burchett said...

Yes, I remember and always thought they were very sincere. But they were just actors, weren't they?

Regina, I'm pretty sure they were actors, but cute commercials. I thank you for putting up with the baseball!
