Small Seascape - Video

I finally managed to get the seascape video to load. It only took about fifteen minutes today. I had tried four times and left the connection to YouTube working for over an hour each time and it would stop with about eight minutes left. There isn't a great deal of information that is not in the printed version posted below on February 4, but you can hear my voice. You can't cram much info into a five minute video. Let me know what you think. Thanks.

This was very interesting and I loved the final result. I had no idea you could wet pastels.....Thanks for posting this Jo.

MD, Thank you. You can smear the pastels with water, alcohol or turpentine depending on the surface you are working on. A little different effect with each one.

Jo, this is a good video - good to see how you solve problems and use the medium. It's about the right length.

Such a gentle touch you have.

Rose, thank you. I'm trying to use a softer touch. You know I am impatient and sometimes I push the pastel in trying to hurry up and get that surface covered and fill up the tooth of the paper or board.

Jo: That was so interesting, I really enjoyed the way you were able to back up and rwork the painting. Certainly somethong I can't do with photography, if I miss the shot it is over. I guess I can tweek what I shot a little for a better print.

fishing guy, thank you so much. I guess that is why you try to take so many photos and not just one of anything. Same idea, right?
