I have been planning to update my web page for about a year. Finally, Joanna told me that if I waited until it was finished I would never do it. So, I took the plunge. She helped me write the CSS and the main pages and I have been working on it since Saturday. Of course I changed my mind as soon as we finished as it didn't flow like I wanted, but I think it is worked out. I don't have many paintings up yet.
It should still look familiar. It is very streamlined. I had hundreds of images, restaurants, golf courses, plein air stories, etc. I will probably put some of that back on but it will take a while. I am doing the html code without Adobe Page Mill, so have some learning and practicing to catch back up. If you have time, check out my web page and let me know what you think.
I did a couple of sketches on November 30 for Scavenger Hunt 110. It was so quiet after everyone left on Sunday. The Hunt is over tomorrow and I was the host. I only got 7 done. Actually, that is OK for a holiday week. There have been quite a few posts today as people get back in their routines.
Number 7, challenge - to do a sketch of something from the day before from memory. Well, I looked at the empty couch and was remembering Jennie and the grand dogs lounging there. Micron 05 pen in about 5 - 10 minutes. Number 8, table lamp - this lamp is part of the table. Also the Micron 05 pen in about 10 minutes.
I am an artist that paints in pastels, with some oils, and acrylics. I sketch in pen and ink. As an artist my original paintings are influenced from living in Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Bolivia, Peru and Chile, and travels throughout much of Canada and all our fifty States. This is my spot for posting paintings and sketches, to muse mostly about art, life and a little about UT Baseball.

Website looks good! Love the colorful header featuring your art.
Jo: That is a nice look to your web page.
Jo I've been meaning to ask why the "NO" on Castillo?
Hi Teresa, thank you for checking it out. I designed the header and Joanna helped me with the lettering to make it easy to read. :)
fishing guy, thank you. I always appreciate your comments.
Karen, my maiden name is Knoblock, pronounced no - block. My father always signed notes and letters with a "no" with a square/block around it. Gene suggested I use that in my paintings. Guess I need to get that story back on my page. :)
Nice job on your web page. I also really enjoy your blog. Thanks for all your great paintings and stories.
Hi Miki, thank you for chatting here. Makes this blogging worthwhile to meet new people. I like your latest wip by the way. And have fun in AZ, and learn something, too! Ha.
Jo, congrats on getting the website up - it looks really good. As has been said, that is a great banner - very eye-catching.
Well done!
Hi Rose, thank you. :) I got up a bit of info on my exhibits page. I had years of archives, I have to decide how far back to go. Ha.
