Of the 5 or 6 lists I have read, you are the only one who hasn't bounced a check. You didn't say who you met who was famous.

Jo: That is a neat list and certainly taxing to the memory.

#87 - Was it a chicken?? Many things there - very cool list! Interesting to read and to find out more about what you've done!

JeanneG, I took care of my money, I guess. Borrowed from my Mom. :) I met several "famous" people when I worked for the airlines including Marcel Marceau and Jerry Van Dyke. Then when we were in South America we met Dan Quayle and Al Gore (I don't count Gore as famous, but someone might. He would be pompous!) Oh, and Julio Iglesias, the singer.

fishing guy, it does make you think. I'm not sure what was meant by climbing a mountain. We were at Machu Pichu several times and in the Rockies many times. Actual mountain climbing like Mt. Everest ... no! Also teaching myself art and a language??? I speak Spanish but was taught the basics in high school and I never had formal art school, but have taken work shops. So a little vague there. :)

Regina, Ha on the chicken! I never actually killed one, but hated picking the feathers off when my Dad killed them. I had to kill a turkey in Bolivia when the dog broke her leg. No one was around so the maid and I had to do the deed. Not good. I don't even like killing flies. Yuck.

Also Gene said we were in Times Square when we visited NY City. I wasn't sure, it was back in the sixties. Hard to remember as fg says.
