New Blogger, Jan Hanson and Art in the Eye of a Needle

When we were in Michigan a while back and I was visiting Sue Modrak, my artist buddy since 1995 I think (whew, long time, huh?), I met Jan Hanson. She was at a class I sat in on with Sue. While Sue was having her class, Jan and I were painting and talking. You know me, love to talk as much as paint. Anyway, I encouraged Jan to get together with Sue as they were taking a plein air class the next week. I also encouraged her to start a blog to show her work and to have some on-line connection in the art world. You can make friends and learn so much. Well, she did it! Go have a look at Jan's new blog and her great sketching and oil painting. Jan, welcome to a wonderful world of art.

And since I have your attention here is something amazing and unreal. A man that sculpts tiny things that fit in the eye of a needle. This is a short video from TV news. Art in the eye of a needle ... unbelievable!

Boy, when you got home you hit the ground running. I think I'm busy until I read what you're up to!

Hi bag blog, Thanks, it was fun to meet Jan. She and Sue have been painting plein air, so I'm sure I will get to see her again.
